Michael Blatus Save The Reefs Fund Jeannie's brother Michael loved to dive and explore the reefs of the Treasure Coast. He enthusiastically worked to educate people about the natural beauty that thrived just off the shores of Vero Beach's beaches and fought hard to protect and preserve them. Jeannie contacted the Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institue to set up the Michael Blatus Save the Reefs Fund in his honor. The money from this fund goes directly twards the preservation of Florida's fragile reefs.
