What To Expect:

Sleepin’ Dogz hails from the sun baked Treasure Coast of Florida. We are a Rock/Jam Band consisting of rhythm guitarist and singer-songwriter Jeannie Burke, lead guitarist Leo Burke, bassist and singer-songwriter Steven Pippin, and drummer Jeff Newman. Our songs reflect our love of bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Allman Brothers Band, Aerosmith, Jeff Beck, Umphrey’s McGee, Tedeschi Trucks.

In our performances, we enjoy engaging with our listeners, whether through heartfelt ballads, soul shaking rockers, jangly jams, or stank face funkiness. We delight in paying homage to our influences and have fun surprising our fans by dropping in reimagined covers throughout our show or even sneaking in a snippet or two during one of our original jams. We strive to put on an inspired live show that carries the listener through a myriad of emotions. We celebrate the universal language of music and the bonds it creates among us all.

What To Expect:

Sleepin’ Dogz Duo hails from the salty, sun soaked shores of Florida’s East Coast. We are comprised of the husband and wife team of singer-songwriter, Jeannie Burke and lead guitarist, Leo Burke. We perform a genre fluid jaunt through the decades featuring reimagined versions of popular hits as well as some fun deep cuts. In addition to covers, we also have an extensive collection of original material. We enjoy touring regularly and have booked several notable venues, such as The Bluebird in Nashville, TN and The Bitter End in NYC. Jeannie was a finalist in the singer songwriter competition at Suwannee Spring Fest at the renowned Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida.
